Midget block #10: Log Cabin almost didn't happen after a few early mistakes that needed to be ripped out. It took me quite a while to get back into the flow of paper-piecing, of which I truly am NOT a fan of.
I already completed #11 a few months ago and have it posted on my sidebar.
Midget block #12: Indiana Puzzle's pattern recommended paper-piecing, but other than the center square, the rest was rotary cut and pieced.
Midget block #13: Sheep Field; lovely simple piecing :0)
Midget block #14: Gem Block also suggested to be made with paper-piecing, but I again rotary cut and pieced it.
Midget block #15: String Block---okay THIS one was paper-pieced.
Way to go!! I think that you have just about caught up with me! :) And BRAVO on #9!!
ReplyDeleteOMG -- you are on a roll! They look fabulous. The paper piecing isn't SO bad once you get used to it. Some of those little guys are just easier that way. Did you see the new block up on the Sentimental Stitches site? I love the little string block.
ReplyDeleteThankfully I have no desire to add these babies on my to do list..I know the quilt will be amazing, but no way!! Aren't you glad I don't copy every quilt you make?
ReplyDeleteI love the fabrics you're using for these. Every time I see a new one on your or Angela's blog I'm tempted, but then I remember the unfinished pile of Dear Jane blocks and decide to try and get back to those instead.
ReplyDeleteLooks good! I will try to connect with you this week for this box of fabric.
