WOW! It truly is different quilting with "someone," even if that someone (or someONES!) are across Internet waves. Tonight... I had my own little retreat in my sewing room with Bonnie, Andee, Angela and Nancy all via my laptop.
My goals for the evening; bind and label two QOVs that need to get mailed out SOON!
Okay.... well, I PREPPED both bindings. And I PREPPED the labels (the blank white fabric ironed to freezer paper in the lower left of pic).... but that's about it.
My Christmas Goose units were simply calling out my name too much.
And now... all 20 are finished.
Not sure when I will complete the binding on the quilts because I predict MUCH of tomorrow being dedicated to the garden/harvest/preserving.
Happy FRIDAY everyone!
I enjoyed watching/listening to Miss Bonnie, it's kinda fun to listen to her ideas "off the cuff".
ReplyDeleteI like your Christmas Goose blocks, oh so many quilts, so little time ~
:-}pokey
Great goose blocks!
ReplyDeleteHonk if you love geese! Great blocks. Are you doing the lattice from the book? Binding can be tedious, even by machine. I am sure it will get done soon.
ReplyDeleteGreat looking blocks - I really like the fabrics you are using. I missed Bonnie last night but I did tune in the night before - lots of fun.
ReplyDeleteI wish my connection had been better so I could have stayed longer :( Glad you got some things done!
ReplyDeleteReally love your Christmas Goose blocks.I'm anxious to see how you set them and put it all together. Happy Gardening!
ReplyDeleteGreat blocks! I was sewing last night, too, but all alone with my TV. sigh :)
ReplyDeleteIt has been a crazy day..just reading my blogs now. Love those geese, my friend Becky loves them too and is thinking she might have to get to that quilt! She is also a Bonnie fan!
