Amy, these are all beautiful! I love the Maltese one but I don't have those rulers so I may have to put that one on the thinking about shelf for a while. Also, the Texas star looks like you could improvise with flying geese blocks if one wanted to make it simpler. I avoid set in seams at all cost-I commend you on your lovely ones!
I was concerned when you were posting your "teasers" earlier. You are definitely stretching my ability with the Texas Star. I have never used templates or applique. I may be calling, "HELP!!!"
Wow, I think these are some of the prettiest yet. I have fallen behind, but hope to catch up after I get 3 quilts finished. I have blocks 13-15 cut and ready to sew and then I plan to make them into a lap quilt. I still hope to do the rest of the year, but in a different color combination, and end up with 2 smaller sized quilts.
Yea, August blocks! I like the star theme. I'll have to do these right away and not get behind again. Happy Friday.
