GAH!!! HIT ME!
I'm still plugging away on the midget blocks, cutting, piecing, appliqueing, paper-piecing......
MISTAKING!!!!!
but.... I'm not the least bit interested in ripping out these mistakes to have a "correct" block; they'll simply be staying that way and become part of the maybe-someday-huge final quilt :\
Do ya see 'em?????
bleh.......
You just made a unique block! I think it looks great. Must be renamed something Amy though... Maybe Amy's Star? So glad you are plugging away on these still. I need to get into the sewing room and finish my midget block for the week.
ReplyDeleteYour error was consistent at least. I know it is frustrating. I will agree with your other reader and would say just re-name it, instead of remaking it. Happy Stitching.
ReplyDeleteThat is your creative inner designer thinking "I can make a more interesting block" and taking over your sewing! LOL
ReplyDeleteLooks good to me! Keep up the midget blocking!
ReplyDeleteThat's really the reason I gave up with the midget blocks, they were so small to be spending that much effort on,
ReplyDeleteLooks good to me. I like it both ways. Were you drinking more wine when you made it????
ReplyDeleteCreative license! Nobody will see the pattern with the block, they might think it was supposed to be that way. The most important thing is that it is another block done -- those are the best blocks of all.
ReplyDeleteIt looks great!! Way to go on getting it finished!!
ReplyDeleteI like the way it turned out. You will have your own unique block in your quilt. Many years down the road, when you look at your quilt and examine your little blocks you will have wonderful little reminders about the 'special' blocks.
