While waiting for the household to wake up, I buckled down to brew up a few more batches of laundry detergent. I was out!
Let me pan out for a moment........
Aghhhhh!!!!!!!
THIS is why I needed some more detergent!
What. A. Disaster!
{{and this is only the laundry that has accumulated in the laundry-room. This doesn't include the overflowing baskets in all the bedrooms!}}
and NO! I did not purposefully make it look worse than it actually is.
Hmmm... I wonder where my other running shoe is??!?!?!?}} LOL
So, now that a load is churning away in the washing machine, it's time for a quick bite to eat, and then.....OUTSIDE to the garden :)
Today's main goal: potatoes! (and everything else)
Happy Saturday!
Oh lovely laundry, will you ever go away??? NO. I still have those days when laundry just doesn't get done and with kids, it's never done.
ReplyDeleteI used to make the liquid and then got lazy and now just make the powder. Works great in my HE front loader. I use this one but don't add the crystals. http://www.onegoodthingbyjillee.com/2013/02/homemade-laundry-detergent-trial-size-version.html
LOVE IT! Awesome post and reading it makes me feel that if even YOU (the woman who does everything, all the time) can get a little behind in her chores, life is going to be okay for me! I stand in awe of all you accomplish and hope that I can grow up to be just like you (or, at least your older, lazier sister!).
ReplyDeleteHave a great gardening day and maybe do a little quilting (pretty please?).

Good to see i am not the only one!
ReplyDeleteLove your shoe ;-) The laundry - not so much TeeHee
ReplyDeleteI make my own laundry detergent too! May I ask which recipe you use? I am one of those people that LOVES doing laundry. I know, I know....WEIRD! My washer and dryer are right by my sewing space, so I do both simultaneously! LOL
