The title says it all! WOW! I can't believe I actually found some time again to get downstairs for MORE than just a few minutes. The top is laying out on the floor, with hopes of being sandwiched on Thursday, to begin the quilting process. Now....just to come up with the quilt design again..... I'm thinking simple meander IF my machine's tension doesn't drive me BONKERS again! Short -n- Sweet tonight folks! Happy sewing!

It's beautiful, hope you find the time to quilt it. I haven't gotten the courage yet to do anything but a crosshatch on small quilts. I am about to 'gird up my loins', and give it a try. Not sure how to do that, but you know what I mean.
The top looks great. Happy girding and quilting. I ordered Fast and Free Volume 1 by Patsy Thompson - someone recommended it on their blog, can't remember who. I found some terrifically helpful information in the introduction (which is as far as I've got) which I'm sure will make the job much easier - now I'm keen to get some practice squares together to have a go.
I love it, I love it, I love it! One of these days I need to make a "Patriotic Quilt" too. There is just someting about the red, white, and blue that makes the quilt just shine. Great Job!!! :D
Wow! That was fast. I have no right to offer advice, 'cause I wasn't happy with how my patriotic log cabin turned out recently, but I tried doing free form stars in each of the squares. I could really see a diagonal type of effect with a meander and a few stars thrown in for effect. Good luck with the tensioning. I have been there and it's no fun at all.
