It's back :| grrrrr.....

Around 1:00 today, the acute twinge of pain returned, and has been growing and building ever since to an [almost] intolerable pain.
It has been MONTHS since I've had this sharp pain, and it frustrates me that it has returned. Ibuprofin hasn't helped much...a bath hasn't helped much...I guess it's time for me to just call it a night, cross my fingers that sleep will come quickly, and catch up with school work tomorrow.

On a quilting note: I hope to get some time in this upcoming weekend, but I am not planning for much of anything during this week's evenings.

take TUMS... You probably have acid reflux.

I think it's your gallbladder. You may be trying to pass a stone, almost everyone has them. I thought I was having a heart attack when mine started. Since having it out I haven't had any more issues. Good luck in figuring it out.

Have you been to the Doc to rule out anything serious?? I have known many young people to have heart attacks. Some as young as 17. Take the chest pain serious and find out the cause. I would hate for something to happen to you. I hope it is something simple like the others have mentioned.

Prayers going up for you...I hope it is nothing serious and you get it checked out. I am not a run to the doctor person at all, but chest pain in your healthy self needs to be checked out! Keep us posted!

My Dad had that pain last Friday and was told it was a heart attack. Still in the hospital. I pray yours is nothing quite so serious!!! Please don't ignore it!

If the pain is up in your rib cage it could also be ulcers. Watch to see what you have eaten prior to one of the attacks. Check spicy, fried food or "greasy foods, citrus, or acidic foods. I have had both a diseased gall bladder and ulcers. Also- check your stress level before one of the attacks. If you have this information before going to a doctor it will help with the diagnosis.

That is not good at all. You really need to get to the bottom of this! Hope you are feeling better.

I hope that you are feeling better now. From the comments it sounds like another doctor's visit could be a good idea. Tuesday, August 2, 2011 post advised your visit to ER, but that doctor didn't sound that helpful, maybe your self diagnosis is correct, but maybe they need to check some of the other things mentioned. I'm a do what I say not what I do kind of person, but it might ease your mind.
