Living Life #2

You're never given anything in this world you cannot handle. But if you keep looking in the rearview mirror, you're eventually going to get into a wreck.

A former student of mine posted this on FB today, and with the emotionally charged week I've had... the timing was perfect. I simply must keep these words in my mind and allow time to do its healing and resist continually dredging up the events of this past week.

I am hoping to find some therapy time in front of my sewing machine this weekend...my mind needs to stay occupied.

It has been a difficult week.

I hope that you can find some solace at your machine! It has been a rough couple of weeks for me as well and time spent at the frame tonight helped tremendously! (As did the hour of bawling this afternoon! lol)

Sorry to hear you have had a rough week, Amy. Hope everything clears up soon, or at least becomes a little less horrible after a weekend of family and sewing. 2 more weeks until winter break, like me? We can do this, come on girl!

Hang in there, this is always a difficult time of the year for many. Find whatever you can to get your mind off of whatever is bothering you. Take all the time you need. If you need someone I am here. We all are.

I wondered why you haven't been around lately. Figured you had to be drowning at school. Sounds like it a bit more than that though. Hope having a break helps, will next week be better?

Hope you have some rest and renewal coming up this weekend. Sounds like you need to be in the sewing room for a few days

Hey girl - hope you are ok. I thought of you last night as I made some flag pendants and used that tiny flag fabric you shared with me!
