I had a few of the subunits completed for Omigosh from leaders and enders over the past couple of weeks; I wanted to see them come together into something tangible. They are stinkin' CUTE merely due to their size! All of those individual squares in the 4- and 9-patches finish at 1/2".
Next, although I'm no where NEAR finishing enough midget blocks, I have been putting some time and thought into the sashing for the finale. With some motivation from Bonnie's In The Pink quilt, I started drawing up some templates on paper for the sizes needed. The square-in-a-square will all end up being paper-pieced, but the sashing units will be pieced with the assistance from my Tri-Recs ruler set.

Seriously cute on so many levels! Love the Omigosh blocks. What an awesome quilt that is going to be. The Midgets look great with their sashing too. What a fun way to put them all together.
Your doing the OMGosh too?! I have been gathering everything together for awhile now, to start in January on that one. I am also going to start pineapple crazy, because I am nuts to do both at the same time. I love the pink and green sashing and cornerstones on your midgets, they look fantastic!
You are really tempting me with photos of the Omigosh quilt! That is really up my alley and might be a fun project for the rainbow challenge next year?
It was great fun sewing with you... we will have to retreat again sometime.
