Yes, this is post 500! I must admit that I haven't even thought about putting together a collection for a giveaway......well, not exactly true! I HAVE thought about it, but simply haven't had a chance to put anything together. So, I NEED to follow tradition....therefore, this is a heads-up to stay tuned; something should be coming within the next two weeks.....
Some of you were wondering how I was going to spend my "child-free" weeks. The only reason I have the child-free weeks is because I have two weeks of classes for a Math Grant I'm involved in and didn't want to have for fork over the $$ for daycare. Everyday, from 7:30 - 4:00, I am busy with course work for this math grant; however, we DO get Friday "off." My quilting time is back to minimal, but I THINK I'm okay with that.
So....class is about to start; I'm off to see what everyone else has been up to.
Happy Tuesday!

You are brave to take a class in the middle of summer....
I thought teachers had the summer off???? Oh wait, I've been to a workshop and a week-long class already.... my bad :o)
Enjoy!
I appreciate your willingness to work on this math grant. Say Hi to Kim, Sarah, and Val for me!
Summer School?!!
Well, enjoy the peace and quiet as much as you can. I understand how it is when they get older and not as demanding...except my boys never got over that being demanding thing! They still burst in the door yelling "MOM!"
Best of luck. I'll be thinking of you
Love and hugs Gina xxx
Congrats on 500 posts. I hope your class goes well and you stay busy enough not to miss your girls too much. Winona
I was sure when I didn't see a post for a while that you were busy with your school stuff. I'm sure that will keep you too busy to miss the girls. Whenever mine are away I try to tell myself that it is good for them to have the chance to miss me every so often.
I hope you have some time and energy in the evening left for a little "you" time. Congrats of 500 posts. They go fast when you are doing two and three a day :)
Congrats on the 500 posts!
Summer school, what fun! I hope you enjoy it.
Your Jared quilt is looking good...I love the green. Hugs, Linda
