Bean.
Bean who?
Bean awhile since we've had a harvest like this!
And we haven't picked the upper garden yet!!!!
Yup...I know what my day consists of; and it's not the Sewing variety of handwork!
At least it's mostly cloudy out there....
And what is Paul doing today? (his 41st Birthday, might I add :-) )
He's butchering the meat birds.
10:20 AM Update:
Mental note: We do not need 103 bean plants next year
If we get a bean harvest like this every three days for the next week or so.....
OMGoodness! We'll be eating beans at every meal until NEXT year's harvest! :-)
Happy Sunday!

Happy B-Day to your DH. Hope he's getting a fried chicken supper w/fresh green beans out of the deal.
Wish my Jamestown Landing was a far along as yours. You are one power sewer!!
Wow that is a lot of beans for today. You are going to be really busy.
Happy birthday to Paul. Hope he wants beans and chicken for his birthday dinner. Good luck getting those all canned -- any special recipes for these guys?
I froze bags and bags of runner beans last year, which we still haven't finished, so I've planted fewer plants this year. Happy birthday to Paul.
Oh my.... that's a lot of beans. Good to see the girls helping.... so many kids are not taught to do that.
Tell Paul Happy Birthday for me!
BEANS, brings back lots of memories as a child, we had to snap snap snap, now how I wish I could be doing that again, living on a sailboat there is no chance of a garden for me now~
Love the pictures!
Happy Birthday Paul. I hope it was a good one. I will make a note not to plant that many beans...vbg. I honestly don't think we could eat that many anyway. Lovely that the girls are helping.
Happy Birthday Paul! Those beans look good!
Happy birthday to Paul. My son's birthday was yesterday...He's just a little younger (25).
Wow, you said you would be up to your eyeballs in beans and you sure are. Your pickles look great too. I wish I lived closer, I would help too!
