Paul: {{whispering loudly from the bedroom window}} Amy! There are four bucks in the garden!
I grabbed the camera and follow him outside. He proceeds to give me the "shooshing" hand signal. Shortly after snapping a few pictures, he then proceeds to SHOUT: "HEY! Get outta there!"
I'm not sure what to giggle more at....
a) the fact that he needed to whisper to me while INSIDE the house...
b) or that he was so cautious and quiet, ONLY to bellar for them to scatter....
c) OR that Shadow (our labrador retriever) slept through the whole thing (that's his house in this picture).
Happy Monday morning

I'm jealous that you get to see such awesome wildlife, but then I don't have a garden. I hope they didn't get to dine before they left.
Whew! My first thought when I read your title was OH NO! She or Paul hit another deer!!!!! I saw an awesome buck on my walk yesterday morning..
I know you don't want them munching on the salad bar, but they are beautiful.
we live 'in the city' and our deer population is unreal. this yr is the first yr we have hostas blooming. I don't think the deer liked the dicatamus (sp) earth I used to kill the sluggs. I also bought 'Deer Fencing' from tractor supply. I didn't think it would work, but I have a small garden and don't want to share. However it really did keep the deer out of the garden!
Please tell me you don't keep your dog tied up to that hot box with no shade!!! Please tell me
