Pineapple Blossom progress

I won't be able to completely piece this top while here at Jen's because I didn't bring any fabric with me.  I'm thinking of setting up a 6x6 center, with some additional blocks in the corners to extend the diagonal to the edge (you all KNOW how I love diagonals!!!).  The bonus pinwheels will be extended with some filler white on the ends and an inner white will edge the center.  It will be finished with some final outer border;  something simple and not too large.

Yup... I think I'm safe to start webbing the center together and trim/piece the pinwheel borders.

I love it. This one is on my too doo list. But I am working my butt off on these other ones right now. So maybe as soon as I finish a few others I will get started on this one. I have been trimming all my scraps down to squares also and getting them all sorted, because the scraps have gotten out of control again.

Love those blossoms. I have made two quilts using this pattern. I don't think I've finished yet.
Cheers

I think I need to make one of these, yours is so awesome. I love your colors and the way you take a pattern and add your own originality to it.
