Cassie and a friend have partnered up to work on a science project. I'm not 100% clear on what the requirements are for it, but her task was to write 5 math questions for part of the "Wheel of Fortune" type game. She spent some time searching online for some questions, but ended up writing all but #1 herself. She tells me she and her partner already wrote 5 science questions for the wheel; she didn't have them here at home for me to post (sorry ANGELA!!!) Anyway----wanna play with the math questions??? ;0)
#1) Do mathematicians know who invented multiplication?
#2) A heptagon is a shape with how many sides?
#3) How many factor pairs are there for the number 24?
#4) If 8 x 7 = 56, what would the p mean in p x 7 = 56?
#5) If 6 people have 1 1/2 apples, how much apple would each person get in order to share equally?
